Do you really want to defeat the GOP? Then you have to take away their appeal to their core supporters. There's plenty to work with--the "Do as I way, not as I do" types are everywhere. But you don't see their day to day activities--only their "official" ones--and only then as they want them to be presented.
The downfall of most of these guys is their hypocracy. And hypocracy is not very attractive. It would take some serious effort to do this project, but it could work. Not gossip--just facts and public records--what they are doing, who they meet with, how they travel, how much they get paid and by whom, what they spend their money on. Most of these guys are not aware of the transparency of the internet and they think they can act with impunity.
But you have to be aware of the consequences. They'll come after you--with the IRS, go thru your trash, try to define you in some "unsavory" way, spank you with the Patriot Act.
But when all the truth is known, they we'll get a real feeling for who is "moral" and who is not.
Do we have the stomach for it?
